As we proudly transition into the InterContinental Luxury & Lifestyle Collection, The Grand Pacific Hotel Suva invites you to be part of its historic transformation. We are seeking a talented, passionate, and driven Bartender to support our team and to deliver world-class experience.

Reporting directly to  Food & Beverage Manager, as a Bartender your duties will include but not limited to the following:

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional and attentive service.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, beers, soft drinks, coffee and other beverages.
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the bar menu and beverage offerings.
• Ensure beverages are prepared and presented consistently according to hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and presentation of the bar and service areas.
• Monitor and replenish bar stock, garnishes and supplies as required.
• Ensure all bar equipment is handled correctly and maintained in good condition.
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, health and safety requirements.
• Follow responsible service of alcohol requirements and hotel policies.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, feedback and concerns.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Assist with functions, events and other hotel operations as required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and consistently uphold the hotel's service standards.

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar Food & Beverage role.
• Good knowledge of beverages, cocktails and bar service.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, energetic and team-oriented attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of personal presentation.
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and evenings as required.
