Cashier - Sales & Ticketing Office Samoa

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our Sales & Ticketing Office in Samoa.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and secure handling of cash and cash-equivalent transactions, maintaining Daily Sales Reports (DSRs), processing office banking, supporting audit requirements, and providing professional customer service support to customers and internal stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Balance, reconcile and verify Daily Sales Reports (DSRs).
• Ensure timely submission of signed DSRs to Finance.
• Securely handle and account for ticket sales cash collections.
• Prepare and process daily banking activities.
• Maintain digital records and filing systems for DSRs.
• Provide professional customer service, including handling calls and messages.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Monitor and maintain office supply stock levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Must have a pass in Samoa School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or equivalent of a Certificate in Business, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year work experience in a cash handling/customer service/retail/travel agent or a related role.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity in financial record-keeping.
• Must have strong knowledge of cash handling processes.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office suite of program (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills with good Email and telephone etiquette.
