Mantaray Island Resort is looking for a reliable, hardworking and physically fit person to join our Mainland Office team as a Loading Assistant.

If you are hands-on, organised, enjoy working with a team, and are confident driving a manual vehicle, we would love to hear from you!

🚚 ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Loading Assistant, you will support the safe and smooth movement of resort supplies, freight, equipment and goods between the mainland and Mantaray Island Resort.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES

• Load, unload, pack and prepare resort supplies, freight and equipment safely.

• Keep storage and loading areas clean, organised and tidy.

• Prepare daily freight according to manifests and check goods against orders and invoices.

• Report any missing, damaged or incorrect items.

• Collect supplies and documents from suppliers when required.

• Assist with barge loading/unloading, town runs, returns, repairs, waste and other freight.

• Complete delivery dockets and keep freight, repair and vehicle records up to date.

• Keep company vehicles clean and assist with basic vehicle and servicing duties.

• Carry out other duties as required by the Office Manager or Directors.

👤 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items.

• Reliable, punctual, hardworking and trustworthy.

• Organised and able to work in a busy environment.

• A positive team player who can follow instructions and safety procedures.

• Careful and responsible when handling resort property and guest belongings.

• Flexible and willing to work weekends and public holidays when required.

• Must hold a valid full driving licence and be confident driving a manual vehicle.

• Previous experience in loading, warehouse, logistics, transport or resort operations will be an advantage.
