Pacific Batteries Pte Limited, is a subsidiary of CJ Patel and Company Pte Limited specialized in Design, Development, Manufacturing, Lead recycle and Marketing of lead-acid Batteries for Automotive, Marine, Deep Cycle, Golf cart, Traction and VRLA (Solar, UPS, Telecom) Application. We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Accountant to be based in our factory in Lami.
Role Description:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities.
- Provide timely and accurate statutory and management reporting, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Monitor and manage company cash flows and ensure accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, standards, and internal controls.
- Support cost accounting and inventory-related accounting functions.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a high-volume transaction- based environment.
- Solid understanding of cost accounting and inventory accounting.
- Experience in preparing budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work under pressure.
