Front Office Manager (Blue Lagoon Beach Resort)

Blue Lagoon Beach Resort is a resort located in the northern Yasawa's on beautiful Nacula Island. Home to two restaurants and Bars, two pools, an amazing Kids Village, Day Spa and Gym, the resort caters up to 140 guests and is busy all throughout the year. Our team of professionals bring their energy and expertise to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests and with this, work together to continue the happiness and friendly atmosphere of which we ae known for.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced person to join our team as a Front Office Manager.

Front Office Manager 

The FO Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the office team. Operating daily from 6am - 10pm, the office team are responsible for daily reconciliation, guest interactions, operational governance and reservation administration, both prior, during and post each guest stay. Working closely with management and all departments, the Front Office Manager is responsible for the day to day to functions of FO, ensuring communication, delivery and ultimately guest satisfaction is always the priority.

Key Responsibilities

•     Oversee all aspects of Front Office day to day tasks

•     Manage team performance, training and rosters

•     Drive exceptional guest experience via team interactions, working closely with the Guests services team daily to ensure guest overview, and activations are completed successfully

•     Lead, mentor, and support the FO team, assisting with workload as required

•     Maintain high standards of efficiency through the following of SOP's

•     Work closely with Resort Management to align FO operations with overall resort goals

Key Requirements

•     2 – 3 years' proven experience in a senior FO leadership role 

•     Sound knowledge of Hotel/Resort operations, and service standards

•     Demonstrated ability to manage teams, support training and follow procedures

•     Demonstrated guest experience in tourism industry with an ability to be proactive, energetic, personable and a strong ambassador for the resort

•     Strong leadership skills with the ability to roll up sleeves and work alongside the team in all aspects of the FO duties

•     Excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills

•     Ability to learn quickly and are computer proficient

•     Willingness to live in resort-provided accommodation and work in a fast paced environment which can be physically demanding as you navigate in and around the resort as required to be across resort operations plus guest movements

This is an on-site live-in role with shared accommodation.
