Kokomo Private Island an exclusive luxury resort located on the Great Astrolabe Reef in Kadavu, one of the largest and most pristine reefs in the world is seeking a motivated, energetic and guest focused PADI Dive Instructor to join our marine team and share the wonders of the underwater world with our guests.

 About the Role:

As a PADI Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering safe, enjoyable, and professional diving experience for Certified Divers and beginners alike. You will conduct dive courses, introductory dives, guided excursion, and assist in maintaining high operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities: 

·     Conduct dive excursions, courses, and training sessions for guests from Divemaster-level; programs as required.

·       Lead guided recreational dives and snorkeling excursions.

·       Ensure all diving activities are carried out in accordance with PADI standards and local regulations.

·       Deliver exceptional guest services and create memorable underwater experiences.

·       Maintain dive equipment’s and ensure vessels and dive facilities remain safe, clean and organized,

·       Complete all required dive logs, training records and operational documentations.

·       Promote marine conservation and environment awareness among guests.

·       Assist with daily Marine activities and support the wider marine team when needed.

Requirements:

·       Current PADI OPEN WATER SCUBA Instructor (OWSI) or higher certification.

·       Current EFR Instructor status.

·       Valid Safety Certificates- First AID/CPR, Fire warden and Oxygen provider certifications

·       Passion for Marine life, conservation and ocean education.

·       Minimum 2 years of Instructional diving experience preferred.

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to work in a multi-cultural guest- focused environment.

·       Additional watersports, boating, or marine activity qualifications will be an advantage.

·       Excellent Interpersonal & communication skills

·       Dynamic Personality with the ability to solve problems

·       Strong technical knowledge of dive operations and equipment maintenance

·       Passionate dive professional

·       Adapt well to new environments

·       High end guest service experience with ability to sell dive packages

·       Must have remote island experience minimum 2 years
