Food & Beverage Cashier

First Landing Beach Resort & Villas, a boutique resort at Vuda Point comprising 62 keys and a busy restaurant, is looking for an experienced, mature, reliable and friendly person to fill the position of Food & Beverage Cashier 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Operate a cash register, communicate with guests, and assist other restaurant staff as needed.
• Processing credit card and cash payments, provide accurate change, and utilize a point of sale (POS) system for all transactions.
• Balancing of Cash register at the end of the shift.
• Take orders from customers that have been placed with the wait staff.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Address customer complaints and answer questions regarding menu items, specials, or pricing.
• Stock bar supplies, including liquor, glassware, mixers, and ice buckets, in preparation for service.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the restaurant's menu items and other offerings.
• Any other duties assigned for the position

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

1. Previous cashier or customer service experience (hospitality/F&B preferred).
2. Basic math skills, honesty, attention to detail, and computer literacy.
3. Positive attitude, polite communication, and patience during busy hours.
4. A minimum qualification- Fiji Seventh Form Examination pass
