Carptrac - Product Support Sales Representative

Carptrac, the Caterpillar Distributor in the Fiji Market has an excellent opportunty available for suitably qualified and experienced person for the role of Product Support Sales Representative to be part of our Caterpillar team based 1 Carpenter Street, Raiwai, Suva. 

Key Duties:

• The PSSR will proactively manage an account base of 50 to 80 customers in an assiged terriory.
• Perform basic machine inspections to generate opportunity for customer interaction and sales. 
• Follow up on sales leads. 
• Prospect for new customers and new parts/service revenue sources. 
• Keep customers informed of parts order and service work status. 
• Provide input/information into planning and budgeting process.  
• Support new product introduction.
• Prepare quotes, sales contracts, and related paperwork necessary to close a deal.  

Requirements:  

• Should be a trained and qualified HMP or EPG technician.
• Experience in the repair and maintenance of Heavy Mobile Plant.  
• Customer service experience and aftersales.  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Valid driving license will be an advantage.
