About Us:

This is a full-time on-site role based at Southern Cross Foods Pte Limited (SCF), Ba, Fiji. SCF is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group of Companies and specializes in manufacturing production of extruded snacks and confectionery for Fiji and International markets and is also a co-manufacturer of Maggi Noodles for Nestle. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Electrician to be based in Ba.

Role Description:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery and production equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and maximize production efficiency.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and electronic faults on production lines and plant equipment.
• Install and maintain wiring, control panels, motors, drives, sensors, and lighting systems.
• Ensure all electrical work is completed in compliance with workplace safety and food safety requirements.
• Assist with plant improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and new installations.
• Support contractors and suppliers during maintenance and project work.
• Complete maintenance reports, downtime records, and parts usage documentation accurately and on time.
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Participate in after-hours breakdown support and shift work as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Trade Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing, food processing, or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, PLCs, instrumentation, and fault-finding techniques.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, night shift and weekends as required.
• Strong teamwork skills, with the drive and energy to contribute positively to the team.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
