As we proudly transition into the InterContinental Luxury & Lifestyle Collection, The Grand Pacific Hotel Suva invites you to be part of its historic transformation. We are seeking a talented, passionate, and driven Commi Chef to support our team and to deliver world-class experience.

Reporting directly to Executive Chef, as a Commi Chef your duties will include but not limited to the following:

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently followed.
• Properly store and handle ingredients to minimise waste.
• Support the culinary team during daily operations.

What we need from you

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and friendly individual who is willing to learn and build an extraordinary career within a global company. The ideal candidate will have:

• A certificate or qualification in Commercial Cookery or Culinary Arts.
• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or commercial kitchen is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene standards.
• A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn.
• Strong teamwork and time-management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
