MECHANIC
Likuri Group—comprising Likuri Island Resort and Robinson Crusoe Island Tours—is seeking an experienced and reliable Mechanic to join our island-based team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Resort Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing the resort's machinery, marine equipment and vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience as a diesel or marine mechanic
- Strong knowledge of diesel generators and associated equipment
- Experience working with desalination plants and wastewater treatment plant machinery
- Sound experience servicing and repairing outboard engines
- Ability to diagnose faults and carry out preventative maintenance
- Welding and fabrication experience would be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Island accommodation and meals are provided.
