Utility Hand
The Utility Hand is responsible for keeping the aircraft and work areas clean and tidy. Once trained, they also help Engineers with basic aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks.
This role reports to the Cabin Maintenance Coordinator or Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator depending on the shift.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and maintain both the inside and outside of aircraft according to the Aircraft Cleaning Manual.
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and well-organized at all times.
- Complete assigned tasks within the required timeframe.
- Follow instructions from the Cabin Maintenance Coordinator or Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator, including utility checks during maintenance, transit, and line servicing.
- Take part in the regular maintenance of Ground Servicing Equipment.
- Follow all employment contract requirements and comply with the Fiji Airways Group Policy Manual and Group Procedures Manual.
- Promote and support teamwork within the group.
- Work towards both personal and team performance goals.
- Participate in safety-related activities such as meetings, inspections, and demonstrations.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Cabin Maintenance Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Successfully completed Fiji School Leaving Certificate.
- Valid Group 2 Fiji Driver's License.
- At least one-year experience in a similar role.
