Executive Chef

Tokatoka Resort – Nadi, Fiji

Are you a passionate culinary leader with the creativity, experience, and drive to deliver exceptional dining experiences? Tokatoka Resort is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our Kitchen Team and uphold the highest standards of culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities

•  Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation.
•  Develop innovative menus that showcase local and cuisine. international
•  Supervise, train, mentor, and motivate the kitchen brigade.
•  Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
•  Manage food costs, inventory, ordering, and stock control.
•  Work closely with the Food & Beverage team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
•  Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
•  Plan and execute banquet, conference, and special event catering.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a resort or hotel environment - culinary qualification from a recognized institution.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Proven ability to manage food costs and kitchen budgets.
• Creative menu planning and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
