Carpenters Shipping - Assistant Transport Supervisor (Suva)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and coordinating daily transport schedules and routes
• Supervise transport staff and ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle logs, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation
• Assist in resolving transportation issues promptly and efficiently
• Support in implementing cost-control measures and improving operational efficiency
• Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth communication

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in transport or logistics operations
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of transportation safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s license is preferred
