We are expanding our team and are seeking a reliable, dedicated and proactive Accounts Clerk to join our dynamic team based in Valelevu, Nasinu. Key Responsibilities

You will play a key role in supporting the finance function, including: 

- Assisting with FNPF and PAYE lodgments (FNPF proMIS & FRCS portal data input and upload) 

- Preparing and filing VAT returns (FRCS portal data input and upload) 

- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of accounts payable and accounts receivable 

- Performing accurate and timely data entry for financial transactions 

- Reconciling bank statements and other financial records 

- Maintaining and updating general ledger accounts 

- Providing general administrative support to the finance department 

- Assisting with all month-end and year-end closing procedures 

Qualifications, Experience & Attributes

- Year 12 (Form 7) pass 

- Certificate or Diploma in Accounting/Finance or related field (an advantage) 

- Minimum 2 years’ proven experience as an accounts clerk or in a similar role 

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook and Word) 

- Experience with accounting software (MYOB AccountRight highly desirable) 

- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures 

- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy 

- Strong organizational and time management skills 

- Good written and verbal communication skills 

- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines 

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment 

- Valid Group 2 Driver’s License with experience (an added advantage)
