Key Responsibilities:
v Lead & Innovate Talent Acquisition – Drive recruitment strategies to attract top talent and build a strong workforce.
v Shape Onboarding & Employee Experience – Design and implement seamless onboarding processes to ensure new hires integrate smoothly.
v Manage Work Permits & Expat Support – Handle visa applications and renewals, ensuring compliance with regulations.
v Ensure Compliance & Best Practices – Oversee adherence to Fiji's Employment Laws and Health & Safety at Work Act (HASAWA), fostering a legally sound work environment.
v Be a Trusted HR Partner – Provide expert HR guidance to managers, influencing business decisions with people-first strategies.
v Drive Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture – Champion initiatives that enhance morale, retention, and productivity.
v Oversee Contracts & Employee Relations – Ensure fair, transparent contract management and handle union matters effectively.
v Lead Social Compliance & Audits – Maintain standards for Sedex SMETA, Amfori BSCI, Daato, Seafood 360, reinforcing ethical business practices.
v Develop Training & Performance Management Systems – Drive learning initiatives, appraisals, and career progression for employees.
v Strengthen HR Operations & Administration – Streamline HR processes, policies, and documentation to enhance efficiency.
Reporting to: General Manager
Qualifications & Skills:
- A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
- Some experience in HR is preferred, but we welcome fresh graduates or individuals with relevant skills and the right attitude.
- A basic understanding of Fiji's Employment Laws is an advantage.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take initiative.
