Model Towns Charitable Trust

The Model Towns Charitable Trust (MTCT) is a non-governmental organisation
committed to building cyclone – safe serviced clean and green sustainable and
progressive communities for disadvantaged families.
The TRUST was chartered in 2009 and registered as a Charitable Trust in 2011 with
the mission “to give impoverished families an opportunity to break free from the
cycle of poverty and provide an improved quality of life for them and their children,
by providing and managing affordable and sustainable housing with appropriate
infrastructure and community development services.”
The project was founded by Peter Drysdale in 1985. Prior to registration of the TRUST,
the project had been operating as the Fiji Rotahomes project under the
Rotary Club of Lautoka (RCL).
