With the humble beginnings from a back yard chicken shed in Nausori 50 years ago by Late Mr. & Mrs. Ram Sami, the company Ram Sami & Sons incorporated in 1970, and has evolved to become the leading Eggs Producers and Distributors in Fiji. The Company was restructured in 2005 and commenced operations as Ram Sami & Sons (Fiji) Limited. Currently the Company has Three Laying Farms, One Brooding and Rearing Farm, A Feedmill, whilst employing over 300 staff.

The above position will be based in our Head Office in Makoi, Nasinu and directly reports to our Financial Controller. Key Responsibilities: • Manage multiple accounts; develop positive working relationships with all stakeholder touch points • Keep updated and clean tax accounts and statements for VAT, FBT, WHT, CPT, Income Tax and Corporation Tax for all companies, also liaise with FRCS if necessity arises • Work closely with Financial Controller and facilitate on daily operational and periodical processes including liaising with Banks and Government departments for various banking and statutory matters • Work closely with Assistant Accountant and Business Analysist and facilitate on day to day operational issues and troubleshooting of Accounting  package-Sage 300+ ERP • Partner with internal cross-functional teams to understand organisational goals and key performance metrics and exceed those goals throughout the company • Use technical tools and quantitative data to manage operations to success, high customer satisfaction and restoration • Prepare and review of reports; actual against budgets relating to Finance and Inventory, including analysis and research • Have weekly meetings with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory Teams and manage weekly Cash-flow plus working capital. • Manage customer activity with CRM tools for maximum efficiency and visibility, with carefully executed follow-up to closure on open issues • Adhere to established Business processes and workflows that relates to operation set-up and placement strategy • Focus and keep updated Asset Management database for all companies and reconciled related-party transactions • Provide input on new processes and workflows as needed Key Competency Requirements: • Relevant Qualification in Accounting • 5+ years’ experience in Finance and Accounts Management with strong analytical skills • Good competency in Sage ERP 300+ & MS Office will be an added advantage • Dynamic personality to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels of organisation • Confident communication (written and oral) skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders • Focused on building relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables • Have good business insights, sound decision making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast paced environment; a consultative approach towards managing complex transaction/processes • Project management experience; knowledge of key concepts including phases, plans, deliverables, scope and tasks • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing internal organisational and external stakeholder obligations • Working knowledge and experience with contracts and contract negotiations • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivated Applications close 28th September, 2019
