Yasawa Island Resort & Spa is seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our engineering team at our remote luxury resort.
This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in an island environment and has strong experience with marine vessels and generators , alongside general mechanical maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance, servicing, and repair of:
Marine engines (boats, tenders, outboards)
Diesel generators and power systems
Resort vehicles and plant equipment
Preventative maintenance scheduling and fault diagnosis
Emergency repairs to minimise operational downtime
Maintaining accurate maintenance and service records
Working closely with the Chief Engineer to ensure smooth resort operations
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
Essential Skills & Experience:
