GRAPHIC DESIGNER Responsible for the quality delivery of design with a strong focus on visual communication and problem solving, the Graphic Designer is an influential contributor to successful marketing initiatives of Marriott International Fiji. As part of a highly productive Marketing Team, this role leads brand and design delivery and development, maintaining the highest level of design and service standards. This role follows and enhances efficient work- flow processes, creative and project briefs. The success of this role is reliant on its technical expertise, proactive thinking and a solution focused approach to graphic design services and will be measured by process, workflow, and quality performance measures. Key Responsibilities Provide expert-level visual style direction, ensuring brand compliance, guidelines and marketing strategies. Oversee the art direction and development of graphic concepts and production across a range of media channels including web, digital and print as well as events. Quality and timely delivery of graphic design and desktop publishing services for print, online, interface, and experiential applications. Actively review all work to identify potential brand or design issues and offer solutions to deliver client and business outcomes. Develop and maintain the brand image library, including the facilitation of photoshoots based on briefs. Adhere to and develop design workflow procedures with a focus on productivity. Key Selection Criteria Extensive experience in graphic design, desktop publishing, marketing and communication within a mid-large size fast paced environment and be able to provide a solid portfolio of digital and print examples. Extensive technical graphic design and desktop publishing expertise across a range of applications including Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat X Pro. High level of creative direction with demonstrated understanding of best-practice global design developments. High level attention to detail to produce high quality work. Substantial experience in a marketing and communications service environment with a high level understanding of effective process to deliver client and business outcomes. Demonstrated high level and autonomous work brief and project management ability. Substantial visual and communication skills with demonstrated capacity to comprehend, negotiate, and educate with a solution focus in a dynamic and challenging environment.  Role is based on Denarau.
