The position is responsible for the technical delivery of research outputs including data collection, as well as capital project monitoring and reporting.  Key Responsibilities 1. Undertake field- and desk-based research on wood and non-wood forest species, including resource characterisation, log sampling, wood property studies, product development, and durability trials and monitoring of lesser-known species, in accordance with approved methodologies and work programmes. 2. Conduct basic laboratory procedures for wood and non-wood research, including sample preparation, testing, measurement and documentation of results in line with established SOPs. 3.
