Carpenters Shipping is a well-established shipping & forwarding Agency and heavy transport and logistics business. We are seeking to employ experienced and a proactive individual for the Inventory Controller role to be based in Suva.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure operational efficiency
Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems
Receive, check, and record incoming goods and materials
Issue stock to departments in line with authorised requests
Conduct regular stock counts and audits, investigating discrepancies
Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to replenish stock as required
Ensure proper storage, labelling, and handling of materials
Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock and report accordingly
Support compliance with health & safety and company procedures
Prepare inventory reports for management as required
