Carpenters Shipping is a well-established shipping & forwarding Agency and heavy transport and logistics business. We are seeking to employ experienced and a proactive individual for the Disbursement Officer role to be based in Suva.
Key Responsibilities:
Process disbursement accounts for overseas shipping activities in accordance with company procedures and international shipping practices.
Review invoices, supporting documentation, and voyage records for accuracy and compliance.
Prepare and execute payment instructions to overseas agents, port authorities, vendors, and service providers.
Monitor disbursement account balances and ensure timely settlement of all shipping-related expenses.
Liaise with overseas agents and internal departments (e.g., Operations, Finance, Procurement) to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless financial transactions.
