VFL seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer – Purchasing & Payables to join our Finance team based at Laucala Beach Estate, Suva.
Role Description:
Reporting to the Accountant, the successful incumbent will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial transactions relating to creditors, payments, and supplier accounts, while ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial records.
Ensure creditor payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Process and reconcile local and overseas creditor accounts.
Capture and process supplier invoices, including preparation of weekly and month-end supplier payments.
Prepare and post journal entries and raise Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) as required.
