About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant to join our Finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities and ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
This role plays a key part in providing accurate financial information to support effective decision-making and the overall performance of the business.
Position is based in Suva.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payments.
- Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and management accounts.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with tax, statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Assist external auditors and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
- Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (CA/ACCA/CPA) is an advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, numerical and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
