Gardener - Properties

As our Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining the company residences and pharmaceutical site grounds to a high standard, ensuring gardens, lawns, pathways, and outdoor areas remain clean, safe, and presentable. You will also support site hygiene, pest control, environmental, and safety requirements.

What you’ll do

• Maintain lawns, gardens, plants, shrubs, hedges, and trees.
• Mow, trim, prune, weed, plant, water, and fertilise landscaped areas.
• Keep pathways, driveways, parking areas, and outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
• Remove garden waste, fallen leaves, branches, and litter.
• Maintain irrigation systems and gardening tools and equipment.
• Inspect grounds for weeds, pests, standing water, hazards, and other site concerns.
• Ensure vegetation is maintained away from buildings, air intakes, utilities, and emergency access routes.
• Follow GMP, hygiene, biosecurity, environmental, and HSE requirements.
• Safely handle gardening equipment, chemicals, and waste.
• Maintain relevant records and report equipment defects, hazards, pest activity, and maintenance requirements.

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience in gardening, grounds maintenance, or a similar role.
• Applicant must hold a current full driver’s license.
• Good knowledge of gardening, plant care, and grounds maintenance.
• Ability to safely operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean and presentable grounds.
• Reliable, practical, and able to work independently.
• Good understanding of health, safety, environmental, and safe work practices.
