NOW HIRING: PROJECT DIRECTOR, FIJI

Tourism Capital Partners is appointing a Fiji-based Project Director to deliver Sorena Naisoso, a multi-phase resort development on Naisoso Island, minutes from Nadi International airport.

Stage 1 is a 128-key resort under a global hotel brand, announcement pending, delivered through an international volumetric modular programme. Modules are manufactured offshore and completed on island. Two further stages sit behind it under an FJD 200M+ masterplan.

You direct the modular works construction manager, the local works construction manager and the offshore manufacturing partner. You coordinate architects, interior designers, engineers, brand representatives, the financier and internal stakeholders. The mandate runs from project start-up and mobilisation through construction, commissioning and the handover to hotel operations.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you own budget, programme, contracts, entitlement and permitting, FF&E and OS&E procurement, monthly reporting to the board and the financier, and the standards the finished product is judged against.

We are looking for 7 to 10+ years of project management experience with significant hotel or hospitality new-build delivery, a track record on multi-million-dollar capital projects taken from start-up through to commissioning, and comfort on an active construction site. Experience with volumetric modular, prefabricated or offshore manufacturing delivery is an advantage.
