About Us:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Inventory Manager to be based at Iceman (Fiji) Pte Limited, Walu Bay, Suva. Iceman (Fiji) Pte Limited is a joint venture company between CJ Patel & Company Pte Ltd and Iceman Technologies (Pvt) Ltd Sri Lanka. Iceman represents world renowned brands like Copeland, Geneglace (France), Bitzer (Germany) and Heatcraft (Australia) and primarily deals with installation, assembling, selling and carrying out maintenance on prefabricated cold rooms, ice plants, refrigerated trucks and air conditioners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management of inventory, procurement coordination, warehousing, logistics, and supply chain activities to ensure the timely availability of materials required for projects, service operations, and day-to-day business needs.
• Lead and manage the Stores and Inventory Team, ensuring high levels of productivity and service delivery.
• Manage all inventory, stores, warehousing, and supply chain operations.
• Ensure optimal stock levels through effective inventory planning and control.
• Oversee the receipt, storage, issuing, and reconciliation of materials, tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Coordinate local and overseas procurement activities and monitor supplier performance.
  Plan and manage imports, exports, shipping, customs clearance, and logistics in collaboration with freight providers.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stocktakes, and investigate inventory variances.
• Ensure timely availability of materials for project installations, fabrication, service, and maintenance teams.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimise stock losses, obsolescence, and excess inventory.
• Prepare inventory and supply chain reports, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and inventory management best practices.

Essential Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in inventory, warehousing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within engineering or refrigeration industries.
• Proven experience leading stores, warehouse, or inventory teams.
• Experience in supplier evaluation, supplier relationship management, and procurement planning.
• Sound knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP software.
• Strong analytical, planning, organisational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
