About Us:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Technical Supervisor ( Refrigeration and Fabrication) to be based at Iceman (Fiji) Pte Limited, Walu Bay, Suva. Iceman (Fiji) Pte Limited is a joint venture company between CJ Patel & Company Pte Ltd and Iceman Technologies (Pvt) Ltd Sri Lanka. Iceman represents world renowned brands like Copeland, Geneglace (France), Bitzer (Germany) and Heatcraft (Australia) and primarily deals with installation, assembling, selling and carrying out maintenance on prefabricated cold rooms, ice plants, refrigerated trucks and air conditioners.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing workshop and site operations, providing technical guidance, ensuring quality workmanship, and supporting the successful delivery of refrigeration projects from design through to installation, commissioning, and after-sales service.

• Supervise refrigeration installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance activities.
• Lead fabrication workshop operations including stainless steel fabrication, welding, assembly, and customised fabrication works.
• Coordinate technical teams, allocate daily tasks, and monitor productivity.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex refrigeration systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, materials, and installation requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
• Support project planning, customer requirements, and technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

Essential Requirements:

• 
  A Diploma or relevant technical qualification in refrigeration and airconditioning or a related field.
  Minimum 10 years' experience in commercial refrigeration and fabrication with 5+ years of experience supervising technical teams.
• Considerable knowledge of the design and operation of refrigeration control systems and practices, methods,materials, and equipment used in the service and installation.
  Experience in commercial refrigeration projects including: Cold rooms, Blast freezers, Ice machines, Freezer trucks, Chillers, Display refrigeration systems and HVAC-related works.
• Proven ability to operate and execute work on Iceman Fiji’s core products and services, including cold rooms, air conditioning, and truck refrigeration systems, particularly with Copeland, Kirby, and Bitzer refrigeration machines.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising a workshop team within the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
• Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring quality and compliance across all projects.
