he WWF, or World Wide Fund for Nature, is one of the largest conservation organizations in the world, with more than 100 offices in over 80 countries scattered around the globe. Founded in 1961, we are also one of the oldest and most respected environmental organizations.

Our global mission is to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature: To do so we work at all levels: with governments, communities and corporations. Our three aims are:
 

  • Conserving the world's biological diversity 
  • Ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable
  • Promoting the reduction of pollution & wasteful consumption
