NPL, with its head office in Sydney, Australia was established in 1997 to provide liner and bulk shipping services in the trades between Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. NPL provides services between most pacific island nations and Australia and NZ as well as, Asia, the Indian subcontinent, Europe, South Africa, and North America. To support these activities, we have fully owned agencies in Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, Tonga and Fiji, complimented by third party agencies in the other markets.
Today, NPL is a vessel owner and operator specialising in the south pacific islands region for containers, bulk and breakbulk cargoes. Our goal is to have to most extensive network in the region, with the highest frequency of services that the small Pacific Islands cargo flow can support. Through smart, pragmatic collaboration with global lines, and regional competitors, we have an unrivalled network of Liner services, agencies, depots, pack and unpack facilities and terminals complimented by tramp services for bulk, breakbulk and special cargoes.
Directly operating a fleet of 7 vessels, as well as slot chartered space, we have the right ship for any pacific island country.
We also have a unique cooperation with Government of Samoa and own 50% controlling interest in the Pacific Forum Line JV (PFL). The PFL JV is managed by Neptune.
