Baobab Marine is a Marine Engineering Company and a Superyacht Agency based at Denarau Marina and Vuda. The Yacht Agency division assist visiting yachts to Fiji i.e. (Denarau Marina, Vuda Marina, Nawi Island Marina (Savusavu), Lautoka, Suva Port and Sufferance wharf around Fiji)
The Vacant Position: Yacht & Shore Support Agent
Skills & Experiences:
· Knowledge in Logistics, Supply Chain and Shipping
· Attention to detail and strong communication skills
· Fast learner & Multitasking abilities
· Proficient in various communication platforms (Emails, WhatsApp, Viber etc.)
· Able to assist, respond and supply our clients with accurate information efficiently
· Drivers License
· Able to work flexible hours
Key Responsibilities:
· Liaise with Fiji authorities (Health, Customs, Bio Security & Immigration) to arrange vessel, crew and passenger clearance. Ensure require documents are in order and submitted in a timing manner.
· Arrange berth bookings with Marinas
· Arrange crew transfers mainly to and from Nadi Intl airport and to activities of our client’s choice.
· Arrange with Freight Forwarders and Shipping Line clearance of ship spares and parts and also the same for our clients who wish to import and export vessels in and out of Fiji.
· Liaise with suppliers in Fiji and abroad in purchasing the best and quality items requested by yachts while in Fiji (Yacht Provisioning for captains, chefs, stewardesses, engineers and officers)
· Liaise with Fiji Immigration, crew entry, visa’s and other related immigration queries.
· Attend to Ad hoc enquiries
