Sau Bay Resort will be reopening in June. Owner/ Operators Carol and Nigel Douglas are proud to call the island their home, they live on the island with their rescue dogs that are very much a part of the Sau Family. Nigel is a fifth generation Fijian who is an instructor diver and has been exploring the Somosomo strait since his childhood. Carol has been living in Fiji since 1986.
With their Sau family staff who live on the property; some from neighbouring villages, and some from the islands of Qamea and Taveuni everyone contributes in making Sau a very special place. Together with their various rescue pets; parrots, mynah bird and dogs making Sau very much a family.
