The Biosecurity Authority of Fiji (BAF) is a Public Enterprise established pursuant to the Biosecurity Act 2008.
Our mission is to protect Fiji’s unique biodiversity and facilitate international trade to and from Fiji. BAF’s role is to protect Fiji from exotic pests and diseases that could have devastating effects on animals, plants, and the environment. BAF at the same time facilitates trade in new markets for Fiji as well as developing and consolidating existing ones.
