Cure Kids was established 50 years ago to transform the health of children in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. In 2006 our sister charity, Cure Kids Fiji, was launched in partnership with AccorHotels, which continues as a valued supporter to this day.
Cure Kids and Cure Kids Fiji have focused on bringing the expertise of world-class health researchers to solve health challenges faced by children in Fiji.
Working closely with Fiji’s Ministry of Health & Medical Services, Cure Kids and Cure Kids Fiji have established two projects to improve children’s health – one for children living with rheumatic heart disease (RHD), and the other for children who need access to oxygen. Both projects focus on urgent need for medical care, and ensuring benefits are sustained for future generations.
In this time Cure Kids and Cure Kids Fiji have delivered more than FJ$9 million to improve care for tens of thousands of patients around Fiji.
