Scuba Diving in Fiji is simply outstanding. Jean-Michel Cousteau first coined the description of Fiji as the “Soft Coral Capital of the World” – and he established his first dive resort here, just outside the little town of Savusavu in the north of Fiji. The north of Fiji (Vanua Levu and Taveuni) has some of Fiji’s best scuba diving sites, including Namena Marine Reserve, Rainbow Reef and the recently opened area of Natewa Bay. It’s far less busy than many other parts of Fiji and you will almost always have the site (and sometimes the boat) to yourself.
