USAID’s $24 million Climate Ready project is implemented by AECOM, a U.S.-based institutional contractor. The primary objective of Climate Ready is to assist Pacific Island countries to achieve their climate adaptation goals by supporting them to develop and implement climate action policies, plans and projects in a manner that is country-driven, coordinated, inclusive and equitable.
The regional program operates in: The Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Palau, Papua New Guinea, and Republic of the Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. The project’s headquarters are located in Suva, and satellite offices have been established in Pohnpei and Port Moresby.
