Ministry of Lands & Mineral Resources

The Ministry is responsible for the effective and efficient administration, development and management all State Land initiatives including the facilitation of the country’s mineral sector and ground water resources.  

The Ministry of Lands administers a total of 18,000 State Land leases covering about 4% of the total land mass in Fiji.

The Ministry Headquarters is situated at the I’Taukei Trust Fund Building Complex, Nasova in Suva with its three (3) Divisional Offices located at the Raojibhai Building in Suva, Lands Department Building in Lautoka and Macuata House in Labasa.

The Ministry’s activities are directly linked and aligned to the People’s Charter for Change, Peace and Progress.

As an awardee of the Prize Category under the Service Excellence Award, the Ministry has envisioned to keep abreast with technology changes whilst ensuring environment and economic sustainable future of all state lands.
