The position will be based at the Energy Fiji Limited’s Navutu Depot and will report to the Metering Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection, diagnosis and maintenance of energy meters, CT and associated metering equipment.
Scanning for faulty and damaged meters, unauthorized connections and fraudulent use or pilferage of electricity.
Measuring (voltage, current and power factor, Active and Reactive Energy) and testing of metering installation to ensure correct operation under the supervision of Meter Inspector
To use and maintain special testing equipment’s such as:
CT analyzers
Multi meters
Power meters
Attend to metering faults.
Installation of domestic meters, cut outs, commercial meters, CT operated smart meters and upgrading of metering instrument under the supervision of Meter Inspector
Prepare regular and special reports and submit as and when required.
