Purpose of the Role:
The Light Vehicle Technician is accountable for ensuring functionality and reliability of Light Machineries, Engines, Mechanical Systems, and the smooth running of day-to-day maintenance programs to optimize Fleet Services. The Light Vehicle Technician will focus on the maintenance of all Fleet Assets operated by Fiji Airports and their respectively deliverables in accordance with his/her set KPI’s. The safety of the Fleet Asset and its end users are of utmost priority and this needs to be considered when carrying out any duties associated with this position.
Key Accountabilities:
Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements for all Major/Minor light vehicles and equipment at Fiji Airports.
To undertake inspection of machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality in accordance with Manufacturers Guidelines.
