ATS Pacific is one of Fiji’s leading inbound tour operators having been in operation in Fiji for over 25 years. ATS Pacific is seeking a Contracting Assistant  who will assist with checking, collating,  processing contracts for content and inventory load teams. Working as part of a dynamic Contracting Team, this role may see you working with Tour Operators, Accommodation Providers and Regional and Local Tourism Organizations.

 You will be responsible for:

  • Assist with checking contracts to ensure all information has been completed, this may require to follow up with suppliers where information is missing
  • Ensure that contracts are loaded into our contracting and tracking systems with complete accuracy as per our company procedures
  • Look at all opportunities to assist with achieving our overall objectives/deadlines
  • Follow up on any queries with suppliers
  • Action and process any amendments to existing contracts as per process to ensure up to date an accurate supplier information
  • Action any global & tactical specials and inform relevant product teams
  • Action any queues or inbox tasks daily, ensuring completion within 24 hrs
  • Action accounts queries as they arise to ensure suppliers are responded to in a timely manner
  • Maintaining and providing a high level of customer service
  • Providing high-level administrative support to the Contracting Leader and Destination & Contracting Managers

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Knowledge of the Tourism industry
  • A sound understanding of business operations, process and policies
  • Well-developed, professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Demonstrated experience in an administration or customer service position
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word; Outlook
  • Experience with using Calypso and the OCD systems would be favourable
  • A sound understanding of our key competitors will be desirable
  • A positive attitude
  • Good presentation skills
  • A business diploma, Travel degree or similar will be highly regarded
