To analyse raw information and intelligence gathered from multiple sources, transforming it into actionable intelligence products that guide CNB investigations and operations.

Key Responsibilities

The position will achieve its purpose through the following key duties:

1. Conduct thorough analysis of raw information to produce actionable intelligence that supports operations and decision‑making.

2. Verify and cross‑check intelligence sources to ensure accuracy, reliability, and credibility of findings.

3. Prepare clear, timely, and relevant intelligence reports tailored to both operational and strategic needs.

4. Maintain intelligence databases, manage records securely, and disseminate information effectively to authorized stakeholders

Knowledge & Experience

1. 1. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in intelligence or analytical roles.
2. Strong knowledge of the intelligence cycle, including collection, analysis, dissemination, and feedback.
3. 3. Proficiency in using technical, open‑source, and human intelligence tools for corroboration and assessment.
4. 4. Experience developing threat assessments, predictive models, and strategic/tactical intelligence products.

Skills & Abilities

1. 1. Ability to critically assess and cross‑check intelligence from multiple sources for reliability.
2. 2. Skilled in preparing clear, concise, and actionable intelligence briefings and reports for commanders and investigators.
3. 3. Capacity to translate intelligence findings into effective policing activities, operations, and investigations.
4. 4. Competence in maintaining intelligence databases while ensuring strict adherence to information security protocols

Additional Information

All applicants for employment in the Ministry of Policing must be of good character, with a background that demonstrates their commitment to the civil service values contained in the Fijian Constitution. Applicants must also be a Fijian Citizen, under the age 60 years, in sound health, with a clear police record. The selected applicants will be required to provide a medical and police clearance, prior to taking up duty as a condition of employment.
