PRODUCTION KITCHEN SUPERVISOR

Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

South Sea Cruises Group (SSCG) is Fiji’s most experienced and award-winning marine tourism operator offering a range of award-winning products and services throughout the stunning Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands. SSCG operates a modern fleet of fast catamarans, an overnight cruise ship, a modern sailing catamaran, an array of smaller vessels. SSCG also operates Fiji’s two most popular day trip islands.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Production Supervisor oversees daily kitchen operations at PK, ensuring high-quality food preparation, cost control, and smooth workflow across all outlets. The role supports the Executive Chef in managing staff, stock, and kitchen compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food prep, production & timely service.
• Manage stock, orders &inventory while controlling costs & minimizing wastage.
• Ensure food quality meets recipes and standards across all outlets.
• Maintain equipment, hygiene & compliance with SSCG sanitation & health programs.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate or diploma in culinary arts (FNU or similar); basic cooking skills required.
• Experience in high-end or 5-star resorts; island/kitchen experience an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication & organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
