South Sea Cruises Group (SSCG) is Fiji’s most experienced and award-winning marine tourism operator offering a range of award-winning products and services throughout the stunning Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands. SSCG operates a modern fleet of fast catamarans, an overnight cruise ship, a modern sailing catamaran, an array of smaller vessels. SSCG also operates Fiji’s two most popular day trip islands.
ROLE OVERVIEW
This role works under the direction of the Cruise Director to ensure that guest experience on board, in the water and on shore is of the highest standard. The Activities
Coordinator role is to ensure all activities are performed safely and efficiently with a focus on providing a safe and memorable experience for our guests.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Daily checks of all activity's equipment including snorkeling equipment, SUP boards, Life Jackets and
F&B delivery
• Actively participates in guest boarding and disembarking procedures
• Issuing of water sports equipment and manages the returns of all sports equipment
• Lead snorkeling trips and other water-based activities with guests to ensure safety
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience in a hospitality, tourism or a cruise industry role
• Strong customer service skills
• A strong swimmer with water safety knowledge and ability to assist guests in the water
• First Aid and CPR trained
• Ability to live onboard and work flexible rosters
