Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced Internal Auditor to be based at our Head Office in Wailekutu, Lami. He/She will be involved in a variety of activities including but not limited to:

Key Requirements

• Be part of the audit team and carry out audits of the Group entities assigned from time to time.
• Assess current business practices against documented policies, procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Identify potential areas of revenue leakage, cost efficiencies and process improvements through concise audit points.
• Appraise the reliability and operation of the accounting, financial and reporting systems.
• Carry out audits through examination of records, data analytics and interviews with staff.
• Participate, as necessary, in the review of control aspects of the IT systems and systems revision before they are implemented.
• Perform follow-up audits to ascertain whether appropriate action is taken on significant audit findings.
• Communicate audit findings with precise recommendations through audit reports.

What We’re Looking For

• Have a Degree in Accounting and Finance.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in Internal Audit or similar role.
• Analytical thinker and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and IT skills.
