Facilitate operational activities, for the labour mobility programmes administered by the NEC in line with the Ministry’s policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities
The position will achieve its purpose through the following:
1. Provide customer service and undertake reception duties, including fielding questions.
2. Facilitate data entry and administrative activities in the recruitment and mobilization process.
3. Provide logistical support in the organization of stakeholder meetings and employer visits.
4. Facilitate the organization and the delivery of training, awareness sessions and monitoring and pastoral care.
5. Organize meetings/briefings with workers as and when required.
6. Compile and maintain periodic reports and other relevant reports on activities in relation to labour mobility activities undertaken.
7. Actively contribute to all corporate requirements of the Ministry, including planning,
budgeting and selection activities where required.
Knowledge & Experience
- 1. At least 1.5 years work experience in a similar field of work.
- 2. Basic knowledge of relevant labour laws and subsidiary regulations and applicable labour legislations.
- 3. Basic understanding and application of Quality Management Systems
- 4. Demonstrated experience in working with foreign employers and unemployed persons from diverse backgrounds.
Skills & Abilities
- 1. Demonstrated ability to work under minimum supervision and achieve outputs within a set timeline.
- 2. Sound communication, interpersonal and representational skills and also have the ability to follow guidelines and appropriately apply processes.
- 3. Demonstrate ability to plan and organize activities and work cooperatively within a team environment with the ability to work under pressure and long hours.
- 4. Capacity to utilise computer programs to support daily operations.
- 5. Service oriented approach, with a commitment to supporting the operational/corporate environment of the Organisation.
