What is the job?

At Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa, we are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through innovation, and world-class hospitality. We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering & Maintenance team.

As an PM Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the resort’s Preventive Maintenance (PM) systems, ensuring all guest rooms, facilities, and equipment are in excellent working condition. Your efforts will play a key role in providing guests with a comfortable and memorable stay.

A little taste of your day-today:

Every day is different, but you'll mostly:

  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Identify and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and safely.
  • Assist with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance tasks.
  • Record maintenance activities and ensure compliance with Crowne Plaza brand standards.
  • Support the Engineering team in maintaining a safe, clean and organized work environment.
What we need from you:
  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Maintenance preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel or resort environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of maintenance systems and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and time management.
  • Ability work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding guest services.
