EXECUTIVE CHEF

Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

The Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa - Denarau is seeking an innovative and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary team and elevate dining experiences across the property's multiple renowned outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor and manage a diverse team of chefs and kitchen staff
  • Develop and execute innovative menus that reflect global trends and local flavours
  • Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation and consistency across all outlets
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory, cost control, manning, and HACCP compliance
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences for events and functions
  • Champion sustainability and locally sourced ingredients

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum diploma or equivalent in Cookery 
  • 10-15 years as Head of Kitchen in a 4 / 5-star category hotel or individual restaurants with high standards. 
  • At least up to 8 years of experience as an Executive Chef. 
  • Up to date with sanitation classes. 
  • Possess a valid health certificate. 
  • Good command in English, both verbal and written to meet business needs. 
  • Work experience in similar capacity with international chain hotels.
