The role is required to carry out general maintenance, services, and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, basic carpentry, water heaters, fans, refrigeration, and other building systems. To work closely with the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform general repairs, routine maintenance and services
• Clean and assist with the upkeep of the facilities
• Fill out detailed reports and keep records
• Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair
• Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs
• Follow all compliance standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Applicants should have a valid trade certificate, understand and follow oral and written instructions, and work in a safe and efficient manner. Other requirements include good organizational skills, motivation, willingness to work flexible times, and work well independently and with others. Experience in mechanical or electrical trades would be advantageous.
Preference will be given to applicants who are honest, enthusiastic to learn and become part of the Tourism Industry, a team player, and have a pleasant personality.
This position offers a competitive starting salary, island based with accommodation and meals provided. Days off arrangements are flexible.
