Civil Heavy Equipment/Excavator Operator

We are currently seeking for Civil Heavy Plant & Machine Operator/Excavator Operator and carry out other associated duties on site. 

Your job involves tasks such as ensuring the machinery is operated safely so as not to injure anyone or cause damage to buildings and recording a daily report of inventory and completed tasks to deliver a quality finished product as per company standards. Also to meet project deadlines, productivity and comply with all company health and safety policies.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Operate most of the heavy equipment such as loader, dozer or backhoe.
• Remove dirt and other materials on the job site
• Unload the excavator in the appropriate area
• Coordinate with other workers to determine to dig sites
• Conduct routine maintenance on your equipment
• Filling Out Paperwork
• Completing daily Vehicle checks

The successful applicant:

• Experience in excavator operations and ability to operate various types of loaders, excavators, dozers, and
trucks.
• Have knowledge of groundworks operations
• Holds class 9 license
• Physically strong and fit for construction site works
• Flexible with night and day shift hours
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Will demonstrate initiative and possess excellent communication skills.
• Keep their machine well-presented and maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
